 Hidden along Chardon Road in Willoughby Hills, Ohio, lies the neglected grave of Edward Halstead, a Revolutionary War veteran who stood watch along the Hudson River and fought for our freedom. The Chardon Road Cemetery is in desperate need of repair.

The inaugural Danny Jones Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway was a heartwarming event that aimed to bring the spirit of Thanksgiving to those in need. Organized by the Men of Honor in partnership with Sub Zero Mission and The Cottage assisted living, the giveaway provided free Thanksgiving meals to 200 families. The distribution ran in a drive-through format at Sub Zero Mission's headquarters, ensuring a safe and efficient way to get these meals to the community. This generous event helped ensure that families in the Painesville area had a delicious and comforting Thanksgiving meal. 

 In loving memory of Danny Jones—whose generous heart still guides us—Men of Honor will feed 200 families this Thanksgiving. It’s never just about turkeys; it’s about showing our neighbors they’re not forgotten, teaching our Junior Cadets that real honor is lived through service, and keeping Danny’s light burning bright in Lake County.
