The Men of Honor Social Club is proud to assist in the restoration of the historic Chardon Road Cemetery in Willoughby Hills—the final resting place of Revolutionary War veteran Edward Halstead and members of the Smith family, early settlers of the area. The Men of Honor Social Club is proud to continue its tradition of service through the Danny Jones Memorial Turkey Giveaway. Having recently completed its third annual giveaway, this effort has grown larger every year—providing more turkeys, helping more families, and bringing more holiday meals to our community. What began as a simple act of giving has become a meaningful annual tradition that honors Danny Jones through service, generosity, and community impact.

When Vietnam veteran Jerry Reynolds of Painesville Township lost his home to fire, Club members joined volunteers and community partners to help rebuild, restore hope, and stand beside a man who served our country. It is another example of our commitment to honoring veterans through meaningful hands-on support. Read the News-Herald article here.
The Men of Honor Social Club is committed to honoring those who came before us through meaningful community service and historic preservation. In partnership with local volunteers, the Club helped place headstones on the previously unmarked graves of Civil War veterans Charles Ellidge, Edward Whitten, and Nathaniel Yeoman and their wives at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville—ensuring their lives, sacrifices, and family legacies are properly remembered for future generations.
